Roopa Farooki

Roopa Farooki was born in Lahore in Pakistan and brought up in London. She graduated from New College, Oxford and worked in advertising before turning to write fiction. Roopa now lives in south-east England and south-west France with her husband, twin girls and two sons. Bitter Sweets, her first novel, was nominated for the Orange Award for New Writers 2007. Roopa's novels have been published internationally and translated into a dozen languages.

Mina Ford studied languages and spent a year living in France before working for a French media company in London. After several years of tube rage, she decided to escape to the relative peace and quiet of Bath, where she wrote her first novel, My Fake Wedding, which was followed by Two of a Kind. She now lives in Bath with her partner.

If Valerie Frankel weren't a writer, she'd probably be a bag lady. Fortunately, she's found her niche, writing novels and magazine articles for women who share her somewhat dirty sense of humor. Frankel writes about sex and dieting for Cosmo, Glamour, Self, Allure, the New York Times and Marie Claire, among other publications. She lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her two daughters and her husband.
Laurie Frankel

Laurie Frankel writes novels (reads novels, teaches other people to write novels, raises a small person who reads and might someday write novels) in Seattle, Washington. She and her husband and daughter live on a nearly vertical hill from which Laurie can watch three different bridges when she's staring out her windows between words. Laurie's earlier novels are The Atlas of Love and Goodbye For Now. This Is How It Always Is is her third novel.
