Rosie Wallace

Rosie Wallace was brought up in Milngavie, near Glasgow but has lived on Orkney since her marriage to Jim Wallace, MP for Orkney and Shetland, bringing up their two daughters. She is a speech and language therapist, and since 2003 has been working freelance, specialising in dyslexia. In 2007, her husband stood down from the Scottish Parliament and was appointed to the House of Lords, so she acquired a title which is only used occasionally!Rosie's interests include cooking, travelling and walking.
Helen Walsh

Helen Walsh is the author of three previous novels, Brass, which won a Betty Trask Award, Once Upon a Time in England, which won a Somerset Maugham Award, and Go To Sleep. She lives on Merseyside.
Dee Williams

Dee Williams was born and brought up in Rotherhithe in East London where her father worked as a stevedore in Surrey Docks. She lives in Hampshire, where she is also an active fundraiser for breast cancer awareness.

Don Winslow

Don Winslow was born in New York City but was raised in South Kingstown, Rhode Island. His books include The Power of the Dog and The Life and Death of Bobby Z. Winslow has been an actor, director, movie theatre manager, safari guide and private investigator. He lives in the San Diego area with his family.
