A powerful story that left me raw yet hopeful
Murphy jumps into the world of suspense with a powerful story of friendship, trauma, coping and betrayal. The characters jump off the page into real life and will have readers gasping and feeling every emotion that they go through. Another amazing book to add to Murphy's already stellar library!
Ever since I was introduced to Monica Murphy's writing last year, however, I knew I could trust that she would handle this difficult subject matter with a sensitive touch and dignity. Which makes Never Tear Us Apart my first "I'd give it 6 stars if I could" 5-star rating of 2016. Yes, it's that good, and yes, it's done that well... This book reminds me of why I love to read... It's poetic, addresses difficult themes, and captures the essence of our fragility as humans and the strength love provides
