The Gollancz Festival for Writers

Tickets to The Gollancz Festival 2015 at Manchester Deansgate and London Piccadilly have sold out, with nearly 300 tickets sold at each venue, but there are still a handful of tickets remaining for The Gollancz Festival for Writers. This extra Gollancz Festival event was launched two weeks ago in response to messages and tweets from disappointed genre fiction fans who missed out on purchasing tickets and it’s already proved extremely popular. The event will run at Waterstones Piccadilly from 12-3pm on Sunday 18 October, tickets priced at £8 (£6 for Waterstones card holders).

The event is aimed at aspiring writers and anyone looking for an insight into an author’s process. It will include talks from Ben Aaronovitch, Joe Abercrombie, Joanne Harris and Joe Hill, as well as a panel of talented debut authors discussing ‘the trials and tribulations of their first year in print’. Please see the full programme and buy tickets at gollanczfest.com.

The Gollancz Festival at The Prince Charles Cinema on 15 and 18 October.

There also still tickets remaining for Gollancz Festival 2015 talk events at the Prince Charles ahead of the screenings of Minority Report on 15th October at 7.30pm, and The Prestige on 18th October at 8pm. Please visit gollanczfest.com for more information.
