Announcing the publication date of Mistborn: Shadows of Self!

We’re so excited! You wait not very long at all for a new Brandon Sanderson release date and then two turn up at once! We launched Brandon in the UK with the Mistborn trilogy (The Final Empire, The Well of Ascension and Hero of Ages) so it’s always been a series that’s very close to our hearts. Following on from that trilogy, Brandon then did that rare thing and moved the action in his world into a new epoch, with new technology, when he wrote Mistborn: The Alloy Of Law which was set in an age where technology had moved on into the Steam Age. Alloy also introduced Wax, a character who became a firm fan favourite. So you can image how delighted we are to herald the return of Wax with the announcement of the publication date for two more Mistborn novels:

Mistborn: Shadows of Self will be coming in October 2015.

And then, very quickly afterwards, in January 2016 a second new novel; Mistborn: Bands of Mourning.

And don’t forget that January 2015 sees the new Reckoners novel, Firefight and then, just over the horizon, the third Stormlight Archive novel.

So much to look forward to!
