Claire Dederer

Claire Dederer is the author of the New York Times-bestselling memoir Poser: My Life in Twenty-Three Yoga Poses which Elizabeth Gilbert called 'the book we all need'. Graeme Sims

Graeme Sims is an ex-advertising director and country vicar, award-winning children's book illustrator and expert dog trainer. He ran his own dog training centre for five years and demonstrates his dog-whispering skills at fairs throughout the UK and US.

Ian Balding

Ian Balding was an internationally respected trainer, but in his retirement now serves on many BHB and NTF committees and also writes regularly for Country Illustrated and Horse & Hound. Ian married Emma Hastings-Bass in 1969 and they have two children: Clare, a successful journalist and BBC broadcaster, and Andrew, Ian's successor at Kingsclere.

Kate Humble

KATE HUMBLE is a writer and presenter. Her most recent television credits include Volcano Live, Orbit: Earth's Extraordinary Journey, Lambing Live and the long running popular wildlife series Springwatch and Autumnwatch. She is a qualified commercial diver and is the second woman to be appointed President of the RSPB. Kate and Ludo launched their business Humble By Nature in 2012. Based on a working farm in Monmouthshire, they run courses in food, rural skills and animal husbandry. They live nearby on their smallholding with Badger and Bella, a hive of bees and various other hoofed, furred and feathered livestock.

Mary Simses

Mary Simses spent much of her life in New England, where she worked in magazine publishing and later as a corporate attorney, writing fiction on the side. She lives in South Florida with her husband/law partner and their daughter.

Seth Casteel

Seth Casteel is an award-winning pet photographer with a passion for working with animals. His series of underwater dog photographs have brought him worldwide attention, entertaining and bewildering millions of animal lovers. He is based in Los Angeles and Chicago and is the proud 'dad' to two dogs, Nala the mini-labradoodle and Fritz, the Norwich Terrier.

Tasmina Perry

Tasmina Perry is the author of the huge Sunday Times Top Ten bestsellers Daddy's Girls, Gold Diggers, Guilty Pleasures, Original Sin, Kiss Heaven Goodbye, Private Lives and Perfect Strangers. She left a career in law to enter the world of women's magazine publishing, going on to win the New Magazine Journalist of the Year award, edit numerous national publications and write on celebrity and style for titles such as Elle and Glamour. In 2004 she launched her own travel and fashion magazine, Jaunt, and was Deputy Editor of InStyle magazine when she left the industry to write books full time.
