Digital Project Manager, Hodder Education

Who we are and what we do

Hodder Education is one of the largest educational publishers of print and digital resources in the UK across the Primary, Secondary, Tertiary and Independent schools and college sectors. We also have a successful and rapidly growing International division that publishes bespoke curriculum resources for a wide range of curricula, working with a variety of educational partner organisations

What you’ll be doing

Hodder Education is looking for an additional Digital Project Manager to join its successful Digital department. Reporting to the Head of Digital Products and Services, the successful candidate will be joining a fast-moving and innovative area of the business, providing crucial project management of digital products and solutions that are designed to deliver online assessment and content services to schools within the UK and international markets. The role encompasses responsibility for the management of external developers, the writing of development briefs and stories that incorporate user acceptance criteria, and delivery of products and services to tightly defined schedules to ensure that the division continues to meet customers’ needs in a timely and cost-effective way.

Who we’re looking for

The successful candidate for this role must have clear and proven communication skills (as they will be working with a wide range of departments including editorial, marketing and sales) as well as a working knowledge of project management tools such as JiRA, Basecamp and Trello. Additionally, the Digital Project Manager will work with a range of external service providers managing schedules and ensuring that work is delivered to a high standard and on time. A digital project management qualification is preferred rather than a requirement, but the person we are looking for must be able to demonstrate their ability to bring a high level of attention to detail to both the defining and checking of development requirements for our online solutions and content.
