Bryony Gordon

Born in 1960, Carol grew up in North Wales with her sister, brother and her beloved mum, Jean. She went to the University of Cambridge at just seventeen. Since childhood, Carol has had a passion for everything mathematical and her skill with numbers secured her a role on Countdown in 1982, the show that cemented her position as one of the most successful and popular female presenters in British TV history. Awarded an MBE in 2000, she has now turned her attention to maths education. Carol lives in Bristol with her children.

26 year old Charlotte Crosby is the nation's sweetheart. She was the star of MTV's Geordie Shore and is a regular fixture in gossip columns and tabloid headlines, but is also loved by her fans for being funny and down to earth. Winner of 2013's Celebrity Big Brother, she is also the creator of two hugely successful fitness DVDs and an ambassador of the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust.

Cliff Richard

Sir Cliff Richard - singer, actor, businessman - was born in India in 1940 and moved to Britain in 1947. He burst onto the rock'n'roll scene in 1958 with his hit single Move It and was then known as Britain's answer to Elvis Presley. His showbiz career includes starring roles in film and television, and in 1995 he became the first rock star to be knighted.

David Niven

David Niven was born in London in 1910. Following Sandhurst and a brief career in the Highland Light Infantry, he sailed to North America where he undertook a number of jobs before heading to Hollywood. He starred in many films, most famously The Prisoner of Zenda in 1937, before returning to Britain when war broke out, to join the Rifle Brigade. Following the war, he returned to Hollywood where he made many more films including Death on the Nile, Casino Royale and The Guns of Navarone.
